How do you create a sidebar with topics below it?

1. To create a sidebar link, simply type sidebar, but capitalize the S and B. You can type this in the search box on the upper right corner.

This automatically creates the sidebar.

2. To add several pages to your sidebar, there are two ways.

a. Click Edit Page when on the main site. On the right, click the button that says "Pages Show all." Then scroll down to the link for SideBar and click on that. Click "Edit" at the top of the screen. That allows you to edit your sidebar. (You can add pages the same way we did before, by using two upper case letters in a word). (see each of the sidebar headings for examples).

b. Scroll to the bottom of the page. In the bottom center, there is a choice to "Show all pages." Click there. Then follow the previous instructions in step 2a.

3. Once each sidebar page is created, when you click on it, it allows you to edit that page(or students to edit and add to that page)by selecting the "edit page" button at the top of the site.

4. Since each user can change the page, only one user at a time can be on a particular page, so having several sidebar pages works well for in class projects.
